Electric Cars Update

Yes, electric cars are definitely coming soon. Most all car manufacturers are in the development stage at present; most have prototypes and some have models that will come on the market in 2024, 2025, 2026 and on to 2030.

Buick is coming out with the Buick Wildcat EV (Electric Vehicle) in 2024. Chevrolet is developing a four door Camaro EV for 2024. Corvette plans to have E-Ray model in 2024. Chrysler is developing an EV SUV called the Airflow for 2025. Dodge is designing a two door EV superfast sports car debuting in 2025. Ford is preparing a F-150 EV model for 2025 to follow up on the Lightning EV pickup truck in 2023 and an updated Mustang for 2024. Honda is developing an EV SUV called the Prologue. Hyundai is will have an SUV version of its Ioniq ready to go in 2024. Infinity will have an EV four door fastback car in its showrooms in 2025. Jeep has plans for its Grand Wagoneer EV in 2025. Lincoln plans to have a Lincoln Aviator ready by 2025. Mercedes has plans for its EQ-EQC model in 2025. Nissan plans to have a variety of EV cars and pickup trucks ready to go between 2024-2030. Lexus is busy designing EV automobiles for 2026. Volkswagen will debut its EV Scout SUV in 2026. Toyota has plans for ten lines of EV automobiles, with the first starting in 2023, and they will have an EV model of their Tacoma pickup truck in 2024. Also, be on the lookout for BMW and other car makers to come out with EV versions in the very near future.

Although autonomous cars are in the research and development stage with many prototypes being tested on the road already, it looks like the next wave of cars will be electric vehicles. Even so, the transition from electric vehicles that need drivers will soon metamorphize into those that are driverless. Within ten years or so, fossil fuel powered vehicles will be something of the past. Electric vehicles will become prevalent and emissions will be significantly reduced. All that should be good for the climate change extremes currently being experienced globally.
